Barrel Aged Imperial Stout

Devil's Take

This is a massive, full bodied Imperial Stout, fermented with specialty sugars and aged 8 months in bourbon barrels (Heaven Hill).  The result is a lush, sticky, chocolate sipper with oak character and a nudge of pleasant booziness. Our draft barrel has been infused with bourbon barrel aged coffee.

This is a limited draft.  We know you will be pleased.

Oak Fermented Sour Blonde

This carefully crafted beer spends months fermenting in barrels with apricots. The result is a bright, effervescent beer, flooded with fruit character and finishing with refreshing acidity.

This West coast style IPA boasts a powerful hop flavor and aroma. A carefully selected malt base, four varieties of boil hops and a generous dry-hop form an IPA with delightful imbalance.

An oak-aged farmhouse-style ale, fermented with farmhouse ale yeast, brettanomyces, and wild yeast and souring bacteria native to Coastal Virginia. Tart and refreshing, this beer carries notes of nectarine and orange zest.

Hoptopus

Our legendary Double IPA boasts intense bitterness and grapefruit-like character throughout. Hoptopus is available to take home in 4-pack 160z. cans and sixtel kegs for those who have in-home draft or are throwing a celebration. This beer is pure hoppiness!

Sour Red Ale

The Red Messenger

This sour red ale is 100 percent fermented in oak barrels using mix of farmhouse ale yeast, brettanomyces, and a culture of wild yeast and souring bacteria native to Coastal Virginia. Notes of cherry, raisin, and subtle tannins. This beer spends an average of 10 months in the oak barrels!

Riptide

This is our tribute to traditional German brewing, but with a distinctive American spirit. Dominated by pilsner and Munich malts and balanced with additions of noble hops, Riptide is wonderfully sessionable and balanced.

Sea Devil

This brew features a wicked combination of chocolate and roasted and black patent malts. The beer’s huge malt base is balanced out by its bitterness, which packs an extra punch.

Black Fin

Brewed with an array of specialty malts and molasses, Blackfin spends months maturing in freshly dumped Caribbean Rum barrels. This process lends the beer notes of oak, vanilla and additional molasses character.

Collaboration Brew

Spot Me Bro

Brewed in collaboration with our friends at Big Ugly Brewing in honor of the grand opening of their new facility in Chesapeake on Saturday August 4th.  Galaxy hopped, hazy pale ale, awash in character of passion fruit and apricot. Intensely juicy with a heady, tropical aroma. Oh my this won’t last long!!

A low bitterness, easy drinker, All Dazer Hazer is dry-hopped at an incredibly irresponsible level with Citra and Ekuanot. It features a high proportion of oats and berry, papaya and melon characters dominate.

This American Pale Ale is hopped and dry hopped with Citra. This one punches way above its weight class, carefully crafted with tropical blends of mango and orange.

A French-style farmhouse ale, this Biere de Garde is beefier than its Belgian cousin, Saison.  Meaning “beer to store” or “beer to age”, Biere de Garde is a marriage of strong malt character and spicy yeast esters. Draft + Growlers

We only make on batch of this malty, hoppy beer each winter. Brewed with Vienna, Munich, and rye malts, this unique beer is hopped and dry-hopped aggressively with Simcoe and Amarillo and has a lasting flora aroma.

A farmhouse-style saison has peppery notes produced during fermentation. We also add malted rye, which creates spicy flavors that blend seamlessly with a dose of wildflower honey that lends the brew a subtle sweetness.

Beachfest

This is our take on a classic German festbier. Dominated by sweet and flavorful Munich malt, Beachfest is fermented at low temperatures to ensure a clean, crisp finish. Noble hops balance the malt base, lending it subtle, spicy undertones.

Pumpkin Porter

Jolly Roger

A classic robust porter brewed with freshly roasted sugar pumpkins. We up the ante by adding fresh cinnamon sticks, whole nutmeg and cloves into the boil, resulting in a roasty, spicy fall brew.

Polaris
