Calling all whimsical weekend warriors! You just got plans for this Saturday.

Once Juneteenth and July 4th pass, the summer is a bit empty with no real holidays. It’s a deep 2-month drought of fun when the heat of the summer is at its peak.  And sure some people make going to the beach practically its own holiday but for most of us it’s not quite the same.

Reaver Beach Brewing Company is back for a second year to break our festive dry spell. This Saturday, they’re hosting their Christmas in July Night Market to bring us a lot of cheer and a little beer.

I think they are clever enough to realize we’re all yearning for those crispy cold Winds of December, so they’re bringing Santa Claus back from Margaritaville early. The elves, though, they’re still on vacation. The gifts, toys, and treats will be supplied by a jam-packed lineup of over 50 vendors.

A ragtag team of local makers, crafters, artists, and generally creative folks are putting their best works on display and on the market. Weaving through the lines of tents, special creations will be at every table. Crochet, paintings, beadwork, jewelry, wood crafts, and candles are just the tip of the iceberg.

Whether you want to treat yourself, surprise a friend with a gift, or get six months ahead of your holiday shopping, there’s sure to be something that you can’t leave without.

Nate Sacks will be gracing the crowds with his guitar mastery, while food will be supplied by Krazy Trompos and Flippin’ Hangry. Reaver Beach is serving up its crowd-pleasing drafts and dropping a new one. Camp Zama, a Japanese rice lager, debuts this weekend.
