Reaver Beach Brewing to Host 2nd Annual Adoptoberfest

Reaver Beach Brewing is going to the dogs again! This Saturday, September 23rd, from 1-5pm, the brewery will host its 2nd Annual Adoptoberfest, an adoption event and donation drive in partnership with the Norfolk Animal Care Center (NACC).

Waggin’ Wheels and the NACC will be at the brewery all day with a ton of little furry adoptable friends to meet. This might just be your chance to meet your newest furever friends!

In addition to the adoptable animals, there will be a stellar lineup of animal-friendly vendors, including Pit Posh Canine Designs, Pawsnickety Pets, Creative Celiac, Neptune Dog Bakery, Dogtopia, Bulldog Brew Bites, and When Skies are Grey Photography with a dog-friendly photobooth!

Reaver Beach will also be releasing a special beer for the event, Kaldr, a cold IPA. Meanwhile Hangry’s food truck will be on site serving up their signature satisfying bites.

All proceeds from donations and beer sales will benefit NACC. Those who donate get draft discounts from Reaver Beach to sweeten the deal.

So come on out to Reaver Beach Brewing on Saturday, September 23rd, for a fun-filled afternoon of beer, dogs, and helping to find forever homes for animals in need!

Why adopt a dog?

Adopting a dog is one of the most rewarding things you can do. Dogs provide companionship, love, and support, and they can make our lives richer in so many ways.

When you adopt a dog from a shelter or rescue organization, you’re giving them a second chance at life. These dogs have often been through a lot, but they’re all deserving of a loving home.

Adopting a dog is also a great way to save money. Buying a dog from a breeder can be expensive, but shelter and rescue dogs are typically much more affordable.

And of course, adopting a dog is just good karma! You’ll be making a difference in the life of one animal, and you’ll also be helping to reduce the number of homeless pets.

So if you’re thinking about getting a dog, consider adopting instead of buying. You won’t regret it!
